Based on the timeline of the most recent post, it looks like I'm at least 3 years behind with this. I'm going to give this (useless) $5 Hollywood Video giftcard to my sister this year for Christmas.

gift card for hollywood video ,is that place on line to accept cards?

I have two cards lol for this and I guess if everything yoru saying is true then we are all out money. 20 dollars here and who knows how much everyone else is out.

I also called the number on the back of the card and tried to view the website. No luck! All the local store telephone number are out of service. So yes, the giftcard is useless. Lesson learned- Don't hold on to giftcards, Use them asap before the company flops like Hollywood.

Didn't they file for Bankruptcy? All stores in my area have been closed down. BUt I still have a gift card with a balance......guess it is trash now?
