I have a Publix giftcard and want to know how much is left on it. I'll ask next time I'm at the store, but why can't we find this out online? Then it gives you a number to call that connects you to corporate. Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?!? I am on a strict budget due to being laid off and do not want to waste the gas to go to the store to find out it is empty. There should be an online feature for this. WalMart can do it! Target can do do it! This may not seem like a big deal, but it is a hassle. I really hate the attitude of most of the Publix employees nowadays (if I acted like most of the kids do that work there when I worked there, I would have been fired on the spot). People no longer seem to care anymore. Take your "Shopping is a pleasure" slogan away. It's all crap.
