You can check you 19 digit card balance by entering the number at
www.walgreens.com/wcard
Upper left check balance:

Your pin is a scratch off on the back of the card - that's where you find your 4 digit pin.

Just did it and it worked like a charm. (Not obvious!)

1. Checking the balance at walgreens.com/wcard requires a PIN. If you have a W card store credit (issued in a return), you won't have a PIN, so this doesn't work.

2. From the FAQ section regarding bulk gift card sales (on the Walgreens site):

How can I determine the balance on my Walgreens Gift Card?
If your Walgreens Gift Card has a 16-digit number on the back, you can determine the balance by calling toll-free 877-248-5555 or by bringing the card to your local Walgreens store.
If your Walgreens Gift Card has a 19-digit number on the back, you can determine the balance by visiting Contact Us or by bringing the card to your local Walgreens store.

However, visiting the store doesn't help. No one in my area (visited multiple stores) was able to find a way to check the balance unless you made a purchase with the card.

It seems as if the W store credits have rules of their own

I already posted this but don't see it. For cards with 19 numbers call 1-866-922-7312. If you don't have a pin you will have to talk to a live person(imagine that!)but it does work,I just called. I couldn't do it online but tried several times.

If you have a 19-digit Walgreens Gift Card or a W Photo® Card, select Card Balance to check your balance or view you account activity. Te check balance online link above will take you to the card balance page for walgreens.

WHY CAN'T I CHECK MY BALANCE??? I THOUGHT I HAD A LOT OF MONEY LEFT ON THE CARD, BUT WALGREENS SAY'S MY BALANCE IS ZERO, I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!

Hey just to let you know, If your walgreens card has a 19 digit number simply go to www.walgreens.com/wcard Then click on check balance in top left hand side, enter the 19 digits an wa la you will see your balance, I know when most people visit that page they can not tell that it is not just to check your wellness card, just try it I promise it works
